Southfield, MI also a part of suburban Detroit. Here you will find boutiques, food, bars and they even have a great library. This option is probably the furthest from the venue but there is easy access to several freeways that will get you downtown and all around in a matter of 15-25 mins.

Downtown Detroit has a lot to explore. This option is a mere 5 Minute drive to the venue. The city thrives with restaurants, casinos, shopping, bars, riverwalk and many other things within walking distance.
All three Casinos (MGM, Motor City, & Hollywood) are available for lodging but here are a few other suggestions.
Dearborn, MI while being a suburb of Detroit it is still rich in culture. There are many restaurants and bars in downtown Dearborn as well as a local shopping mall. This option while miles away is still within 15-20 from the venue.
